Normann Copenhagen Momento table lamp

The Momento LED table lamp is the designers Daniel Debiasi and Federico Sandri idea of a new and simplified version of the classic office lamp. In Momento’s design, the typical technical office lamp details have been replaced by an elegantly balanced architecture, which is easy to adjust to the lighting need of the moment. 

The mobility of the Momento lamp has been achieved in a simple and intuitive way by using a simple connection between a stable base and an adjustable lamp arm. The arm rests in a tubular grip that allows it to slide forwards and backwards and turn in the connector. The light source itself can be tilted up and down easily by gripping the lampshade’s narrow top. 

The quirkishly tweeked lamp top adds something soft and atmospheric to Momento’s clean visual impression. The lamp wiring is hidden in the metal arm and the switch is discretely integrated in the top of the lampshade. Together with the simple construction, these details create a light and airy design. 

The Momento table lamp has been designed with an energy-efficient LED lighting source and integrated dispersion lens, which create an attractive and comfortable light. A soft-touch three-level dimmer allows the intensity of the light to be easily changed. Momento is available in black, white and grey, as well as deep petroleum green.

The designers Daniel Debiasi and Federico Sandri both have a degree in Industrial Design, Daniel from the Milan Polytechnic and Federico from the IUAV University in Venice. They met during a shared work experience in Milan where they both led projects for international design companies. In 2010, they decided to join forces and founded their joint design studio. 

Daniel and Federico have a holistic approach to design and are interested in the relation between products and their surroundings. They believe that every object is part of a bigger system that should be taken into account too.
