Artisan uses solid wood from renewable resources in their production, only environmentally-friendly materials for treatment, natural oils and wax that emphasize the luxurious and organic beauty of wood texture and that enable it to "breathe" naturally. This emphasizes the natural color diversity, while the use of harmful chemical substances for wood treatment is avoided by using vinyl-based glue.

Mirko Miličić was born on 9 January 1985 in Zagreb where he graduated design at the Faculty of Architecture acquiring the title Master of Arts in Design. His work is characterised by simple and clear lines he uses to achieve powerful and innovative solutions based on methodological processes. Apart from working in the field of product design, furniture and interior design, he is also active in the fields of Web, graphical and motion design.
